FLY & SPINNER FISHING

The dates below should provide a good guideline to fish each species. Actual fishing dates may change slightly from year to year, and the strengths of each run may vary from year to year as well. Weather and water conditions also vary yearly. The fish usually run at the following times:

KING SALMON: June 15th to July 10th (migrating)

CHUM SALMON: June 15th to September 20th (migrating)

CHAR/DOLLY VARDEN: June 15th to September 20th (resident)

ARCTIC GRAYLING: June 15th to September 20th (resident)

PINK SALMON: June 25th to July 20th (migrating)

Much of our business is repeat business, and once you’ve fished the Unalakleet River you’ll look forward to your next visit. You must call in advance to reserve dates for your fishing trip. A deposit will secure the dates, with the balance due upon arrival.
